Role Summary

WTW is navigating a period of significant, sustained transformation shaped by global market shifts, advances in technology, AI and automation, and the evolving expectations of our colleagues and clients. Corporate Marketing is embedding AI, automation and data more deeply into how work gets done, creating a unique opportunity to help redesign marketing workflows for greater speed, quality and impact.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role for someone who combines strong marketing knowledge with proven experience implementing and developing AI and automation solutions for marketing or similar commercial teams. Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, this role will help turn the Corporate Marketing AI roadmap into practical, adopted workflow improvements across brand and content quality, creative asset production, campaign delivery, digital marketing, events, intake, approvals, reporting and analytics.

Working as part of the broader Marketing and Communication (M&C) AI and automation capability – alongside a Shared AI Solutions Developer and the AI and Automation Manager, Corporate Communication – this role will partner with Corporate Marketing, Segment Marketing, IT, Sales Operations, Analytics and external vendors to understand current workflows, diagnose friction and assess AI and automation capabilities across the MarTech stack, including Adobe, Marketo, Sitecore, Wrike, Cvent, Power BI and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

  • Translate the Corporate Marketing AI and automation roadmap into practical, adopted workflows that simplify how marketing work gets done and reduce manual effort.

  • Help identify and prioritize workflow improvement opportunities across brand and content quality, creative asset production, campaign delivery, digital marketing, events, intake, approvals, reporting and analytics.

  • Partner with Corporate Marketing, Segment Marketing, IT, Sales Operations, Analytics and external vendors to understand current workflows, diagnose friction and design more effective ways of working within Corporate Marketing's platforms, standards and processes.

  • Assess AI and automation capabilities across the MarTech stack – including Adobe, Marketo, Sitecore, Wrike, Cvent, Power BI, Microsoft 365 and other vendor tools – to reduce duplication, improve self-service and support better planning decisions.

  • Work closely with the Shared AI Solutions Developer to translate workflow reviews and business requirements into practical, technically sound solutions, providing marketing context and prioritization to guide build decisions.

  • Partner with the AI and Automation Manager, Corporate Communication to share learnings, avoid duplication of effort and maintain a consistent approach to AI and automation across M&C.

  • Help marketers use data, trends and performance insight to improve future content and campaign decisions.

  • Support adoption through simple guidance, playbooks, training materials and benefit tracking so teams can see what has changed, how to use it and what value it delivers.

  • Champion innovative approaches to AI, automation, analytics and emerging technologies to strengthen marketing effectiveness and colleague experience.

  • Establish measures of success for specific marketing efforts– including reduced process complexity, improved cycle times, increased self-service and reduced manual effort – and report progress to the Head of Digital Marketing, the Global Marketing and Communication Operations Lead and Corporate Marketing leadership.

  • Build trusted relationships across Corporate Marketing, Segment Marketing leadership, IT, Sales Operations, Analytics and external vendors.

  • Maintain external benchmarking and market insight on AI, automation and MarTech trends, bringing best practice into Corporate Marketing's roadmap and priorities.

  • Model WTW values – client focus, teamwork, respect, excellence and integrity.

Qualifications

  • Strong, well-rounded marketing knowledge, including some combination of brand, content, creative production, campaign delivery, digital marketing and/or marketing operations.

  • Proven experience implementing and developing AI and automation solutions for marketing or similar commercial teams, including workflow redesign, process simplification and tool evaluation.

  • Fluency in how AI and automation are reshaping marketing work, with experience leveraging AI-enabled tools (such as Copilot or equivalent) to elevate quality, efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Working knowledge of the MarTech landscape (e.g., Adobe, Marketo, Sitecore, Wrike, Cvent, Power BI, Microsoft 365) and the ability to assess capabilities and identify practical improvement opportunities.

  • Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements for a technical developer to build against; comfortable partnering closely with a solutions developer without formal people management responsibility.

  • Strong analytical mindset – adept at using data, benchmarks and metrics to identify friction, prioritize opportunities and measure impact.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills; able to build trust and influence marketing leaders and colleagues without formal authority.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and adaptable; skilled at managing multiple concurrent priorities across geographies and time zones.

  • Experience designing adoption support materials, including simple guidance, playbooks and training content.

  • Aptitude to synthesize direction, navigate ambiguity and prioritize actions from a variety of stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communication, business, technology or a related field.

  • Experience working within a large, complex, global organization preferred.

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

8. HOW TO PRIORITIZE WORK?

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
