Job Description Job Description **DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS AD IF YOU DO NOT MEET ALL OF THE STATED REQUIREMENTS ** FedEx Route Driver - FedEx Ground JTA Deliveries, a Privately owned company that has contracts with FedEx Ground to deliver and pick up packages out of the Ooltewah, TN Ground Terminal We are looking for qualified drivers to deliver and pick up packages from local businesses and residences. We will only consider those with 6 MONTHS commercial driving experience. This is a requirement and will be verified prior to any employment. If you are HARDWORKING, RELIABLE, TEAM FOCUSED individual, the possibility of growth within this company is yours. We are fast growing and want enthusiastic individuals to grow with us. This business has a need for full and part-time drivers to fill various schedules. Requirements, Driver must: Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record (including no cell phone citations or DWI convictions). Must have a class F prior to starting. Good Driving Record and a clean MVR be able to read, speak and write English Be able to pass a drug test, (random as well) and D.O.T physical, Be able to complete and pass a road test Be of legal status to work in the USA, we E-Verify Be able to safely lift/carry up to 150 lbs with a hand truck. This is a physically demanding job & could involve climbing stairs and walking briskly Pass FedEx Ground approval process to become a qualified driver Have reliable transportation to and from work Be on site at the terminal ON TIME and ready to work each work day Be able to work in all types of weather Safety is of utmost importance Daily Duties include but not limited to: • Daily routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are a driver will routinely perform a range of 80-130 stops a day depending on area. • Perform daily Pre & Post inspection on vehicle and submit written report • Efficiently pack vehicle for deliveries • Work independently and as part of a team • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with operations personnel • Safely and accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process • Safely operate iPad navigation software • Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner and occasionally help fellow teammates when needed • Your truck must be operated safely at all times Company Description We are a great company that is safety oriented. Required qualifications:
