GoDaddy designer for light website refresh

Other Jobs To Apply

No other job posts for this day.

We're looking for someone with experience in two things:

- Wed Design

- Website modification in GoDaddy

Please don't apply for this job if you have amazing design skills which then can't be applied on the GoDaddy back end! We acknowledge that GoDaddy is basic and so are we. :-)

The job is:

- Look at our current website

- Mock up a version that is more modern and polished

- Suggest minor structural or copy changes if needed

- Identify any missing assets (if you need additional copy or images) and we can provide.

- When approved, apply those changes to our website on GoDaddy.

This is not a massive web re-visioning project - we're just looking to make our existing site a bit cleaner.

Some websites we like:

Newslab.no - a very clean homepage, portfolio is forward and easy to see.

devriesglobal.com - a very clean homepage, minimalist, easy to read.

ogilvypr.com.au - clean, sophisticated, but the pattern elements mean it is not boring. Information is easy to access.

All of these examples have:

- A large headline

- Minimal supporting copy

- Strong photography, video, or visual texture

- Lots of whitespace

- No dense navigation or information overload

- Portfolio-first rather than services-first (services are explained via the examples in the portfolio)

- Follow the structure: Big statement, Selected work, Agency philosophy, Who we are, Services, Leadership, Get in touch

- Copy is in short paragraphs with strong headlines

- replace generic images with documentary/cinematic style photos

We'd love you to help us achieve the same!
