Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Operators to join our growing remote team in Malaysia. This role is ideal for individuals who are highly organized, possess excellent typing skills, and are passionate about maintaining data accuracy and integrity. As a Data Entry Operator, you will play a critical role in supporting various operational and administrative functions by ensuring timely and accurate data entry into our internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and update accurate data into databases, spreadsheets, and internal platforms.

  • Review and verify data for deficiencies, errors, or duplication; correct any incompatibilities.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and comply with data integrity standards.

  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve data discrepancies.

  • Prepare reports and summaries as requested by management.

  • Manage workload efficiently to meet daily and weekly productivity targets.

  • Perform routine data audits and quality checks to ensure high standards are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data management are a plus.

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Strong typing skills with a minimum of 45 words per minute and high accuracy.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Reliable internet connection and access to a personal computer or laptop.

Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in a data entry, administrative, or clerical role is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Fresh graduates or entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn are welcome to apply.

  • Experience working in a remote environment will be considered an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Flexible working hours: Monday to Friday.

  • Option to choose part-time or full-time schedules.

  • Must be available to meet agreed deadlines and attend occasional virtual team meetings.

  • Basic knowledge of data systems and CRM platforms is desirable.

  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
