Gallery Host

Pay: $ 19/hr

Location: Atlanta, GA (Buckhead)

As a Gallery Host, you'll deliver warm, efficient service at every touchpoint from check-in to checkout while embodying the values and culture that make guests want to come back.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Greet and welcome all guests and associates with a smile; assist with check-in and checkout, including verifying registration and credit information
  • Provide accurate information on hotel services, features, room amenities, and local directions; coordinate special arrangements and guest requests
  • Answer hotel phones courteously following Hyatt Place greeting and operational standards
  • Assist guests with current and future Hyatt Place reservations; proactively offer booking help at checkout
  • Post charges to guest folios, verify credit cards, and balance the bank at end of shift
  • Support new associate training through positive reinforcement and constructive, respectful feedback
  • Follow all Hyatt Place policies including cash handling, safety, and security procedures to consistently exceed guest expectations
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and a calm, professional demeanor during busy or unusual periods

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience required — hotel or hospitality background preferred
  • Schedule flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong command of English — speaking, reading, and writing
  • Ability to multitask and learn quickly in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 20 lbs
  • Must be 18 years or older
