We are expanding Teams as a strategic platform for chat, collaboration, meetings, webinars, town halls, conference rooms, and enterprise voice services. Our Collaboration Technology Team is seeking a Microsoft Teams Engineer with experience supporting collaboration technologies in a large enterprise environment. This role will partner with other engineers to implement, configure, and support Microsoft Teams services, including Teams Phone, Teams Rooms, meetings, webinars, and town halls. The engineer will assist with deployments, provide operational support, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance user adoption and platform reliability.</p><p></p><p>Responsible for creating, modifying, maintaining and supporting infrastructure and individual and integrated system components and solutions that enable business functions and IT Services. Balance availability, security, efficiency and functional requirements to help provide an optimized production service. Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and ensure these risks are effectively identified and escalated to be measured, monitored and controlled.</p><p></p><p>We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be <b>in the office 4 days per week.</b> This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio or Plano, TX.</p><p></p><p>Relocation assistance <b>is</b> available for this position.</p><p></p><p><b>What youll do:</b></p><ul><li>Under limited supervision, designs scalable IT system infrastructure, implements system changes with consistency and autonomy, and automates service delivery and maintenance tasks; builds monitoring and tooling for systems.</li><li>Independently, resolves complex technology production issues by troubleshooting IT systems. Identifies opportunities for improvements and makes recommendations to management.</li><li>Analyzes complex outages and identifies opportunities for system improvements.</li><li>Understands and consistently exercises engineering best practices, concepts, and patterns.</li><li>Understands the customer and identifies solutions and ideas for the customer with some assistance.</li><li>Evaluates potential Technology solutions with some oversight.</li><li>Mentors junior engineers and may being mentoring peer engineer.</li><li>Develop software defined infrastructure in code in CI/CD Pipelines.</li><li>Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you have:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.</li><li>4 years of infrastructure experience demonstrating depth of technical understanding within a specific discipline(s)/technology(s) or applicable IT experience such as IT Management, Software Development, Data Engineering, and Agile Product/Release Management.</li><li>2 years of experience in creating, modifying, and maintaining infrastructure and individual system components.</li><li>Proficient level of business acumen in the areas of business operations, risk management, industry practices and emerging trends.</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of designing scalable IT system infrastructures, implementing system changes, or automating service delivery and maintenance tasks.</li><li>Basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What sets you apart:</b></p><ul><li>1+ years’ experience supporting meetings, webinars, town halls, and live events, including event planning, configuration, troubleshooting, and post-event reporting.</li><li>1+ years’ experience supporting conference room technologies, audiovisual (AV) equipment, collaboration devices, and meeting room integrations.</li><li>Experience configuring conferencing hardware from vendors such as Logitech, Poly, and Crestron.</li><li>Experience managing Teams policies, messaging policies, meeting policies, calling policies, app permission policies, and external collaboration settings using Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Teams Admin Center, PowerShell, and related Microsoft tools.</li><li>Experience developing automation using Microsoft Graph API.</li><li>Experience supporting executive-level meetings, large-scale virtual events, and enterprise communications.</li><li>Understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and dependencies including CoPilot, Purview, Defender, and Exchange.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Compensation range: </b>The salary range for this position is: $93,770-$179,240.</p><p></p><p><b>USAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position.
