This role sits at the intersection of product technology, instructional design, and modern digital media.</span></p><p><span>The ideal candidate is an experienced learning professional who can translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and interactive learning experiences. Success in this role requires strong technical aptitude, creative problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and comfort using emerging <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">technologies—including</span> generative AI—to streamline development and support rapid product evolution across Motorola Solutions’ portfolios.</span></p><p></p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li><p><b><span>Analyze performance needs and design effective learning solutions by conducting needs analysis, defining learning objectives, creating instructional strategies, developing assessments, and collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure training drives measurable performance outcomes.</span></b></p></li><li><p><span>Design interactive, visually compelling online training that explains technical concepts, product features, and role-based workflows.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Develop multimedia assets—including demo videos, animations, simulations, and graphics—using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Camtasia.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Translate complex hardware and software behaviors into intuitive, task-based learning materials.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Build strong foundational knowledge of Motorola Solutions’ products, workflows, and solution ecosystem to ensure accuracy and relevance.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Track product updates and release cycles to update training aligned with product roadmaps.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Partner with SMEs, product managers, engineers, and technical teams to gather information, validate content, and ensure training alignment.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Manage training assets within a product portfolio, including planning, prioritization, and on-time delivery of updates.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Lead or coordinate projects across global teams and time zones using strong communication, organization, and <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">stakeholder-management</span> skills.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure all training aligns with Motorola Solutions’ brand, accessibility standards, and quality expectations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate scripting, prototyping, media creation, and content optimization.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Analyze training performance using learner data, analytics, and feedback to continuously refine learning materials.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to produce modular, performance-focused training experiences.</span></p></li></ul><h2><br>Basic Requirements</h2><p></p><p></p><ul><li><p><span>Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field.</span></p></li><li><p><b>5+ years of professional experience in Instructional Design or Learning Experience Design, including the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of online learning solutions.</b></p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience designing and developing eLearning using Articulate Storyline.</p></li><li><p><span>Experience designing and developing training for software, hardware, SaaS, enterprise technology, or other technical product environments.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Additional Clarification</b></p><p><span>This role is focused on instructional design and learning experience design. Successful candidates will have direct experience analyzing performance needs, designing learning solutions, developing instructional content, creating assessments, and collaborating with subject matter experts.
