The position will require frequent travel in CT, and MA and therefore the selected candidate must live in this region.</b><br/><br/><b>What You Will Do: </b><br/><ul><li>Identify constraints to flow that will be used to develop improvement and mitigation plans for improved on time delivery from suppliers</li><li>Active participant in cross-functional supplier performance reviews, and Co-lead with our customers and Supplier Development Leaders on the respective Supplier Business Reviews and Rate Readiness Reviews.</li><li>Lead/ co-lead Production meetings with Suppliers.</li><li>Acquire a vision of the big picture and understand that enhancing operational effectiveness is key to organizational business performance.</li><li>Drive for results, consistently pursuing continued ways to accomplish goals and objectives that require your extraordinary determination, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills to satisfy our customers' needs.</li><li>Develop a strong understanding of the products and the operational processes they go through at the suppliers you will be working with.</li><li>Ability to generate and gain opportunities to break functional, operational, & logistical barriers faced with getting products out the door.</li><li>Reveal and work to remove barriers to business goals specific to the on-time delivery of parts.</li><li>Effectively driving tasks/projects to completion which include but are not limited to: Leading Indicator data collection and gap review, material coverage and tracking, facilitating quality notification communication and closures, and sub-tier management assistance.</li><li>Communicate across leadership levels within company and supply base.</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with various partners, customers, and suppliers.</li><li>Manage multiple projects and interact with several departments and various levels of management simultaneously.</li><li>Lead, manage, and/or assist with process improvement projects.</li><li>Through the rigorous use of change management disciplines, drive initiatives, processes, and CORE throughout the business and across the supply chain</li><li>Utilizes project management approach and process improvement discipline to lead projects according to plan, including identifying and mitigating project risks.</li><li>Gather feedback and work to identify new improvement opportunities in conjunction with Supplier Development Leaders.</li><li><b>Must be able to travel up to 80% of your time within the Northeast region</b></li><li><b>On-site at suppliers 80% of your time</b></li><li><b>20% of the time working from home office</b></li></ul><br/><br/><b>Qualifications You Must Have:</b><br/><ul><li>A College Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior delivery assurance, supply chain, or related experience</li><li>Reside in the Connecticut and Massachusetts area</li><li>U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.</li></ul><br/><br/><b>Qualifications We Prefer:</b><br/><ul><li>Experience in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field</li><li>The ability to lead and inspire change.</li><li>Learns quickly, grasps the 'essence of what is happening', and can change the course quickly</li><li>Builds strong relationships with peers and partners outside of team to enable higher performance</li><li>Openly considers the ideas of others, analyzes, and develops innovation to reality</li><li>Positive negotiation skills</li><li>Ability to handle many conflicting priorities</li><li>Flexible, enthusiastic self-starter</li><li>Proficient in SAP and Qlik/ Power BI</li><li>Experience working with cross functional teams</li></ul><br/><br/>Please ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. <b>This position is classified as:</b><br/><br/><b>Remote:</b> Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
