Collaborate with diverse teams to identify, analyze, and resolve software defects efficiently. Contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies, fostering innovation and continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.</p><p>As a Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li class="lst">Building frameworks to automate deployment, configuration, and testing for many components of our compute cloud offering.</li><li class="lst">Advising in utilizing and managing automation frameworks and tools, including Pytest, Playwright, SaltStack, Github Actions, and Jenkins.</li><li class="lst">Showcasing high-level proficiency in Python test case development and the creation of automated scripts.</li><li class="lst">Having experience in Linux system administration (specifically, server administration, networking, system internals, and package management).</li><li class="lst">Mastering of testing best practices, from the analysis of design documentation to the creation of thorough, repeatable test plans.</li></ul><p><b>Do what you love</b></p><p>To be successful in this role you will:</p><ul><li class="lst">Have 2+ years of experience in software development and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent.</li><li class="lst">Have experience in both Manual and Automation Testing using Python, Java, and TestNG.</li><li class="lst">Have experience in working with skilled teams of SDET engineers and communicating well with development teams throughout the testing process.</li><li class="lst">Have an interest in cloud security and knowledge of secure development best practices as defined by organizations such as OWASP.</li><li class="lst">Have a good understanding of systems programming and networking concepts.
