Coordinator, People Data Operations (Remote)

Other Jobs To Apply

UTA seeks a Coordinator to serve as the operational engine of the People Data team, responsible for high-volume, high-accuracy data entry across the full employee lifecycle in Workday. The Coordinator owns the day-to-day execution of lifecycle transactions, manages the shared email and ticketing queue, and administers records for both regular and contract employees. Success in this role requires deep hands‑on Workday fluency, disciplined attention to data integrity, and the ability to move a heavy transactional volume without sacrificing quality. This position is fully remote. The hourly rate for this role is $25 to $29 per hour, commensurate with experience and skills.

What You Will Do

Workday Data Entry — Employee Lifecycle

  • Execute high-volume employee lifecycle transactions in Workday HCM — hires, rehires, job and compensation changes, transfers, org moves, position management, and terminations — with a consistent focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Enter and maintain data for both regular and contract/contingent employees, ensuring correct worker types, positions, cost centers, business units, and supervisory organizations.
  • Perform Workday EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) data loads and mass updates for bulk transactions, following established templates, validation steps, and audit controls.
  • Reconcile position and worker data, correcting discrepancies and preventing downstream errors in benefits, payroll, and reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy of all personal and sensitive employee data.

Email & Ticketing Queue Management

  • Own and monitor the shared People Data email inbox and ticketing queue, triaging incoming requests, routing appropriately, and acknowledging/resolving within defined SLAs (e.g., 1–2 business days).
  • Track request status end-to-end, follow up on open items, and elevate blockers to the manager or cross‑functional partners as needed.
  • Provide clear, professional written responses to employees, managers, and People Business Partners across email, ticketing, and Slack on the status of data requests.

Recruitment & Onboarding Data

  • Manage the handoff of candidate and new-hire data from Ashby (recruitment/ATS) into Workday, validating field accuracy at the point of entry.
  • Support onboarding data readiness, ensuring new hires and contract workers are set up completely and on time.
  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition and Systems to resolve integration or data-sync issues between Ashby and Workday.

Data Integrity & Process

  • Run routine data audits and quality checks; identify error trends and recurring issues and flag them for remediation.
  • Follow and help improve SOPs, checklists, and reference materials for lifecycle transactions and queue management.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for Workday configuration changes, upgrades, and enhancements.

What You Will Need

  • 1-3+ years of hands‑on HR operations / HRIS data entry experience, with a track record of managing high transaction volume accurately.
  • Strong hands‑on Workday HCM experience across the employee lifecycle (hires, changes, terminations, position management).
  • Direct experience with Workday EIB data loads and mass updates.
  • Experience administering data for contract/contingent workers alongside regular employees.
  • Familiarity with Ashby (or a comparable ATS) and recruitment‑to‑HRIS data handoffs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a shared email inbox and/or ticketing queue against defined SLAs.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over data accuracy.
  • Strong written communication skills and comfort working with cross‑functional partners (Payroll, Legal, Systems, People Business Partners).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana) and collaboration/communication tools (e.g., Slack).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting employees on fixed‑term or other employment contracts, including tracking contract terms, start/end dates, extensions, renewals, and related Workday updates.
  • Reporting knowledge is a plus — including Workday advanced/custom report writing, matrix reports, and pulling data to answer stakeholder questions.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, or entertainment/agency environment.
  • Prior work supporting data governance or audit frameworks.

What You Will Get

  • The unique and exciting opportunity to work at one of a leading global entertainment companies
  • Access to the tools, leadership, and resources you will need to create and drive a center of excellence
  • The opportunity to do the best work of your career
  • Work in an inclusive and diverse company culture
  • Competitive programs to support your well‑being
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment with room to grow
